How many is too many bridesmaids?

Well... I started out by saying I had no women I could ask to be bridesmaids... now I have 5 bridesmaids and 2 junior bridesmaids (my FH's twin 13 year old daughters), and he has 6 groomsmen. Our wedding will be about 75-100 people! Honestly, I think four is the perfect number!

I don't think so! I think that's a good number. 😊

We’re having an international DW with about 25-30 guests. I wanted 3 on each side max and then suddenly my FH has 6 guys! I think we’ve agreed to compromise on 4 each. Your BP can be as big or small as you want it

4 is perfect! That's how many my FH and I each have as well as a flower girl and 2 ring bearers.

The more people, the more opinions, BUT yesterday I saw that someone is having 7 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen! The key is to have who you want. I don't think the size of the guest list and the size of the bridal party are that closely related.

Our wedding is 55 people and we have 6 groomsmen 6 bridesmaids! So you’re definitely good 👍

Pick the girls who you can’t imagine getting ready without. If that’s only 2 cool, if that number is still the 4, so be it. I am having 4 & a guest list of 150-200ppl.

We will have 4 on each side, with a wedding of ~150 people. Even with 40 people, 75% of those in attendance won't be in the wedding party, so I think you are good! I read somewhere that 4 on each side is the average number. I've been to weddings with 8-10 bridesmaids, which felt excessive.

I read somewhere that “etiquette” is after your maid/matron of honor, it is appropriate to have one person for every 40-50 guests. This is old school tradition but I think now a days, it’s up to the bride/groom.
