I'm from a very big family and so is my fiance.I have 8 yes 8 brothers and sisters and my fiance have 7 brothers and sisters.I don't want to hurt anyone feels by picking one person and not the other.I have been saying yes to everyone so now I have 12 yes 12 bridesmaids.I would like to go down to eight but everyone seem so excited to be apart of our wedding day that I do not want to hurt their feels. I'm having 12 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and 3 jr bridesmaids. I feel like a kid in the back room that just want to tell everyone NOOOOOOOO THIS IS MY WEDDING AND I DON'T CARE HOW YOU FEEL BUT YOU,YOU AND YES YOU ARE OUT. AND IF IT PISSES YOU OFF THAT YOU DON'T COME TO THE WEDDING THAN THAT'S ONE LESS MOUTH I HAVE TO FEED. But I can't do that.Wish I could but I can't they are too into this wedding to let them down.

We are having 5 on each side and 4 ringbearers. I am also having 2 personal attendants, maybe you could cut down your bridal party by having some as personal attendants instead (and if they are set on getting the dresses, let them get a diff color than your bridesmaids and then they don't have to walk down the aisle) You could also think about doing honorary bridesmaids, meaning that they are recognized in the program and you could give them a flower but they don't have to buy the dress or walk down the aisle.

WOW! $75 a bouquet! Are you committed to the flowers you chose? Maybe you can get a quick one-on-one with the florist and see if there are some inexpensive substitutes in the same color that might save you some money? Mine is doing a really good job at keeping mine at about $15 each.

We had two attendants, a dude of honor and a maid of honor (both my children). And that was total, not per side.

We have 3 on each side. I'm having a MOH (Best Friend), a Jr. MOH (my daughter who is also walking me down the aisle), and a BM (Other best friend).

FH is having a BM (He Cousin & Best Friend), a GM (His uncle & father of BM), and a Jr. GM (his nephew). He didn't want his brothers in it. (Long story.)
