It depends on what you want to photographer in terms of getting ready photos

I don’t know I told them from 1 to 8 30 I just wanted to know if that’s enough time from me getting ready to the ceremony and go to park afterwards and the rest at reception

    Hey Jazmin!

Do you have an end time for your reception?

I would recommend asking your photographer how ‘ready’ they will want you to be for your getting ready photos. You should also take into account how long it will take you to get to your ceremony venue and how far in advance you need to be there.

I would first check with your photographer as most of them have wedding packages that include so many hours, photos, poses etc. Most will also have a hourly rate. If you want photos of you, FH and BP getting ready, first look, parents photos, bridal photos etc, I would allow at least 2-3 hours for that. The ceremony 20-30 mins depending on your style and group, family, reception candids, 3+ hours. I would suggest at least 5-7 hours unless it is more cost effective to go with their wedding package if they offer one.

No less than 8 hours IMO. Good luck!

We had our photographer for 8.5 hours. She arrived at 1:30 (when I was finishing hair and makeup) and left at 10 when our reception ended. We got all the details, portraits, ceremony, group, and reception photos we wanted.
