How many hours is your wedding?

Hi everyone, Just wondering what's the average time span for a wedding. Our venue gives a 5 hour block, including ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (everything is in the same location). I'm just a little nervous that everything during the reception will feel rushed!

My wedding is also 5 hours.

    5p- ceremony

    5:30-6:45 cocktails

    6:45 bp/bride-groom entrance/ 1st dance

    7-10 dinner/party

We are expecting 100 guests. I personally don't mind because I was in my cousin's wedding that started at 10a (catholic ceremony), headed to reception venue (30min drive), bridal portraits (while we waited for hours), bride/groom portraits, & finally bp portraits. The reception didn't start until 4:30p. I was totally exhausted & cranky that I had to take a nap at the venue. The wedding finally ended at 11:00p, to give everyone an hour to clean up (yes, we have to break everything down).

So four hours tops. But we aren't party people...

We get the entire day. But our "event" will be officially from 5pm-1am so 8 hours for ceremony, cocktail and reception.

Ours is 5 hours as well in the same location. My timeline looks like this: 430-5 ceremony 5-6 cocktail hour 6-930 reception. It's on a Sunday and we are not doing a bouquet/garter toss

Our venue gives us a 10-hour time block. We will most likely have our time set from 3pm-1am. Not planning on starting wedding till either 5 or 5:30pm, all time before that will be used for getting ready.

We have our venue from 10 am until midnight. I don't plan on getting there until 2. Our ceremony starts at 5 and there is a noice ordinance that has our DJ lower the volume at 10. I'm expecting people there until 11.
