How many hours a week do you spend wedding planning?

Umm... you mean there are people who don't spend 100% of their time thinking about their wedding??? So let's see 24 hours a day, 7 days a week... 168 hours a week.

My FH and I have 1 night a week dedicated to wedding planning. Sometimes we have homework beyond that, sometimes we don't. On the forums & watching wedding videos, I don't even want to know how much time I spend!

I mean I guess those people exist @Jac3286?? Not me obviously

Too much time. I basically have everything done except a few details here and there and a couple DIY things, but I still think about it all the time, which includes second guessing, rearranging time lines, double checking with vendors, etc. I should probably have a set time to work on it every week, but I have a lot of down time at work so my mind tends to always wander.

Seems like all day everyday! LOL

Well, are we counting just sitting on WW for fun as "planning"?

Serious answer-- actively planning, maybe 15 hours. If we're counting just sitting on the forums, let's bump it to 35 (I have it open all day, but I actually do get some work done!)

Pretty much all day at work. Thank you WW for making my day more enjoyable and the time pass quickly.

Planning, maybe 1-2 hours. In the first couple months I was engaged probably 3-4 hours on pinterest, venue websites, calling vendors, emailing vendors, getting address, dress shopping, bridal shows. I spend I'd say 2-3 hours a day on WW. It may seem like I am on a lot, bc I have certain times I pop in when i first get in (after checking emails, like now), right before lunch, and after 3:30 I am pretty much useless at work. Then in the evenings in my downtime.

I pretty much plan all day and jot down note everywhere.

I plan all day every day. It's ridic. I used to spend way more time on the forums but as the wedding has gotten closer I've stepped back since I've been so busy but I miss everyone haha. I'm jealous at the amount of forum time some people have!

I spend my entire work week 5 days a week 8 hours a day on the forums Some days I don't make it onto the forums but I typically snoop throughout the day.

Wedding planning, all day. I jot things down here and there and then look them up when I have time and ask forum questions where I need to.

Well, I feel like I spend my entire work week lurking and commenting in the forums when I have time between work.

As for actual planning, I think I spent so much time early on that I am starting to slow down and run out of things to do (which makes me think I am forgetting something). ETA: I am definitely thinking about it on and off 24-7 though!

I haven't been planning at all lately. But the forums I'm on all day every day lol

I think the real question is how much time on WW?! Like a lot of people on here most planning is done during work and I save DIY for the weekend.

Is all of the time I spend on the forums considered planning? If so, I apparently plan 30-35 hours a week. Oops.

Feels like all day everyday but I try not to bring up wedding stuff everyday to FH. lol.

So much that I fear for how bored I'm going to be when the wedding is over and I can't remember how I used to pass the time when I wasn't engaged! It's a problem.
