How Many Guests per Table?

MrsD, on February 11, 2019 at 3:17 PM

So I'm getting mixed answers on Google. How many people will fit at a 60" round table? And a 96"x33" banquet table? Right now, I have 10 at a round table & 8 per banquet table (not using the ends of the tables). Is that okay? Will people be cramped? What has been your experience?

I used wedding mapper. The website looks a little crude but I liked it. Here's the link: http://app.weddingmapper.com/

We did 8-10 at 72" tables and people just fit comfortably. I'd think 8 at a 60" table would be far too cramped. For the banquet table, our venue manager told us 2-3' per person so I'd think you're good with 8.

10 people I thought is standard for 72" round. It might be stuffy! I would stick with 8.

Something I will be asking my venue how big the tables are because they too told me 10, but a florist actually told me the sizing for 10. I will have to adjust as well if they aren't 72's.

Google recommends 8-10 for 60 inch tables. I think I'm going with 8, since all the other brides on here commented that too and the pictures look nice. We are having small centerpieces so they won't take up a ton of table space, and we are doing a buffet so we won't have waiters setting down a bunch of plates.

Yes, I really meant 10 would be far too cramped at a 60-inch. 8 will be fine!

    LOL.

I just ask this question on Saturday with our vendor and I was informed that with my 100 guest, the table will seat 6-8 people per table. And we are doing a blended style seating chart with both families at every table. I feel this will break up the I only speak to who I know. This is two families coming together as one. And it should be that way with the guest for the duration of the reception.

Funny! Yeah we are going with 8 at 60 inch rounds. We are also doing longer banquet tables, so we don't have to split up larger groups.
