View Quoted Comment I knew ahead of time—I was always planning on having two ceremonies (one just with immediate family and then a larger one with a reception). Very fun to shop for two completely different gowns (one was a sheath and the other ball gown).

View Quoted Comment It's crazy how you just know it's THE dress when you try it on! Dresses can look so differently on the hanger vs on a person - sometimes, it's the ones we think we won't like that end up being the best once we try them on. Awesome that it worked out for you the way it did!

I found mine at the second store!

Hi there,

I went to one store. I knew my budget, went in with an open mind ( I'm the least pickiest person ever which helped the process) I tried on a few different styles, figured out rather quickly what worked and what didn't with my body type and left that day with a dress. I think I tried on a total of 6. One lace, one plain, one with all the frills, one sequins, one lace with v neck, one off the shoulders.

Personally, the more frills/lace/ sequins the more I hated it! I chose the simple yet elegant Mikado trumpet dress. Im 100% happy and in love with my dress!

I would be careful going to too many stores/trying on too many dresses.. I felt like if I would have tired on any more I would just become too overwhelmed and confused!
