I was going to take 2 days off before the wedding.
Im also considering taking this friday off to get marriage licensce.
Is that normal?
Fh started a new job and next friday might be the last weekday he has off before things pick up.
I work 10 to 7 friday and I drive an hour away to get to work
Fh is working nights and he usually sleeps until 10 am after work
So Im thinking that by the time he wakes up and we got to the courthouse it could be 11 am Im not sure how long the process is so I might get to work almost by 1...then work 6 hours
Since we are not having a honey moon I was thinking we could get marriage licensce, take our time then spend the day together maybe dinner or go to sometging special
Does that sound stupid?

I’m taking 2 weeks off. I’ll be off the day before we fly out and have appts that day for a cut/color for my hair and mani/pedi. We will arrive in Vegas Friday morning, wedding is on Sunday and we leave for 9 days in Hawaii on that Tuesday.

I don’t get hardly any days off work. (Not even 5 days)

but I am taking 3 days off. Just so I can relax one day with my fiancé. One day to prepare and get all the last minute stuff done.

last day is for getting my nails done, packing the car, double checking evening and rehearsal dinner.

Some peiple work up until their wedding. I would say, so what feels best. Make check lists and prepare as much as you can. If you can’t do a lot of time off, don’t worry about it!!!

Depends on what you have available. I've been saving up my PTO (minus the 2 days I need to take for my cousins wedding this fall) so I can take as much as I need. I plan to take Thursday and Friday off before the wedding (possibly a half day Wednesday) and then the entire following week, so 7 days total. I also kept in mind the family vacation we are taking next summer with FH family but that will only be a few days. Thankfully, my job gives us off a week for Christmas/New Years so I have plenty of time to prepare for the wedding the month beforehand.
