How many Cupcakes?

Hey Y'all! So we are doing cupcakes (about 4 different flavors) instead of a traditional cake. Only problem is we have no idea how many to order! Were having about 150 guests. We were thinking about 2 per person, but don't want to be stuck with a million cupcakes afterwards.

We are doing cupcakes too! I posted not too long ago asking the same thing. People gave me the answers between 1.5 and 2.5 cupcakes per guest. We decided on 2 cupcakes per guest.

If you aren't doing any other dessert, I would go with 2 per guest. My guess is you will have some leftover, but you don't want to risk someone not getting one.

Our baker decided 9 dozen for our 100 guests. We might tweak it down a bit once final count comes in. But they are so good im not mad about a bunch left. Eta- her cupcakes are pretty massive so one per guest seemed right to us. We are reasonably looking closer to 80 people though and probably keeping it at 9 dozen

We're doing minis too and they recommended 2 per guest. We're also having passed desserts and cookies and milk to go.
