1.5 per person but I would recommend you buy little take home type boxes for guests to take the extras home as that will help with the left overs.

If your family is like mine, you'll need atleast 2pp, especially if they're chocolate!

Our bakery recommended ordering more cupcakes than guest because while most people aren't likely to take 2 slices of cake, people are likely to take more than 1 cupcake, especially if you have different flavors.

We ordered 8 dozen (96) cupcakes for our wedding, 4 different flavors, 2 dozen of each. We had about 70 guests.

We had some left over, and had little boxes so at the end of the wedding we were shoving them off to people to take home with them. I think at the end of the event we only had like 6 or so cupcakes left to take home.

I did minis and they said 1.5 a guest--but I still may do another dozen---
