Our bakery said 1.5 per person.

So far we have 86 RSVP yes, we invited 90 - our baker is doing 96 (8 dozen even) plus a small cake for us.

We had mini cupcakes (about 1/3 the size of a standard cupcake) and got enough for each person to have 4. They were all eaten. We also had a small tiered cake that served 120, which also got all eaten. We had 220 guests.

So I would probably get double the number of guests.

We are inviting 138 people, not sure how many will attend though. We are going with 16 dozen (192) cupcakes. We also have 8 different cupcake flavors; 2 dozen of each. While that may seem like a lot, we figure it would be good to have extra in case people take two. We also will provide cupcake take-home containers for those that wish to take one home. We are having an after party at a local hotel and figure we can bring the leftovers to that.
