I have 6, maybe 7, a little iffy on the 7th, she's more like in case something happens to one of the bridesmaids she'll take their place. I haven't told my fiance how many i have just yet, last he knew there were 5...lol
I don’t talk to many people because my life solely revolves around work & college. I only have my maid of honor who is my best friend from high school, and 1 bridesmaid. My FH has a best man(his brother) and 1 groomsmen. Very small bridal party.
We agreed to include all our siblings and nieces/nephews in the wedding party. We have 6 bridesmaids (2 MOH) and 7 groomsmen (2 best men and 1 jr groomsman, his nephew). We now have two flower girls and three ring bearers which may seem like a lot, but all his nieces and nephews are young and all wanted to participate in the wedding festivities. Plus, it’s a good way to let me bond with them.
I want 5 plus flower girl because I hv 1 sister and my fiancé has 1; then my daughter and his daughter; then my god sister; and my god daughter; then flower girl who is my god daughter. My fiancé says too many, but having difficult time cutting any of these people.
I have 6 and then my two daughters as well. There is no perfect number. Just keep in mind to pick people who mean the most to you and when you look back at your wedding you can still be happy who you picked. Also don’t forget the more people in the wedding party means more money.
Because this is not my first marriage and bc of COVID ; we are not having a bridal party . 40 of our closest family and friends . On the beach with a private chef cooking dinner
I have 4 which is more than I really wanted to have, but gaining two sisters I felt that I should include them in this special day since we are close. All I can say is you don’t need to include every friend you have ever known. My future sister in law is getting married in May and to say that being one of her 7 bridesmaids has been a nightmare! She wanted to include everyone that she considers a friend and to say that it has backfired many times since she asked everyone is an understatement. Make sure that those you include in your bridal party are truly people who will stand by you and support you and your new spouse for the rest of your lives together and that won’t do anything to hinder that!
We are having only one bridesmaid and one groomsman. I am from a huge family (8 siblings) so it would have been very lopsided. We are having two flower girls and two ring bearers though.
