This is what we were doing originally, but for some reason the two signing witnesses got promoted to MOH and BM. Lol. It's okay, they are nearest and dearest to our hearts.

Hi there! I'm curious only because I've seen this before...What's the difference between a matron of honor and maid of honor?

Hi! The only difference that I am aware of is that the Matron is married and the Maid is single.

Thank you! I'm glad I found that out. I was looking for MOH gifts and the word Matron looked so much more elegant. I'm glad I know the difference now!

We aren’t having bridesmaids and groomsmen since the wedding is small and intimate. Everyone we invited will be there to celebrate and support us.

Only our children are in the wedding. We each have two children. I have a 4 year old daughter and a 19 year old son. My fiancé has two daughters 11 and 14 so the girls will be on my side and my son on his side. that's it. Family wedding.

Well, my MOH is my oldest sister. We are avid coffee drinkers and coffee cups seem to be a great gift between the two of us. There is a coffee cup I have found that's custom that has the bride and MOH on the front and the back says "Maid of Honor" as well as the date of the wedding. Other than that, I have purchased her dress for her and plan on some sort of jewelry when we go back for fittings and such at David's Bridal. I suppose the purchase of the dress and jewelry are gift enough, but I want to give her something to remind her of the day whenever she uses the item, instead of just a one-time deal. What are you planning to gift your ladies?

We decided not to have any bridesmaids and groomsmen is it wrong to do that. Our wedding is only 50 people so its small.

No bridal party for us! Really pleased with our decision. Our friends can enjoy as guests and it makes everyone’s lives more simple 👌🏼
