Thank you! I would completely recommend doing yourself. It's budget friendly and I was able to customize my bouquet to be exactly what I envisioned!

Omg we are like the same person. I went to Michaels yesterday to get extra flowers for my centerpieces 😳! I also went to Joann fabrics and they are having 50-60% off everything! They have really cool wedding stuff as well. If you don’t have one in your are they have it online as well!

I did cocktail table centerpieces in like an hr the other day. They probably cost around $10 each to make. I’m also making my reception centerpieces and this is what they look like. I’ve changed the look I swear 20 times! I know my tablecloth is super wrinkly; it’s only one I bought on amazon so I could test out my look. I made the wreath chandeliers to hang in my tent. And also my FH made the arch arrangement and I think he killed it!! Most of the flowers I used are from Michaels and Hobby lobby, some are from amazon and a few are from AliExpress. All my vases I got from thrift stores except my tall centerpiece vase, those are being provided to us by our WC for free!

You did a great job, it looks beautiful! How are you going to your centerpieces to candle holders, since they have no stems?

I did my own centerpieces and bouquets - just used succulents instead of flowers. My suggestion is to, not only look at videos, but also practice making bouquets on things like face flowers and/or give yourself a lot of time leeway to do them. Also, purchase overstock on flowers you want.

These were my bouquets and centerpieces.

Thanks! So I glued them to a foam half ball...then I will glue that to the top of the candle holder. Pillar candle holders work best since they are larger at the base. I added an example, can't find a picture of the one I am using (got them on CL).

I did mine all from HL. I went just to see what I could find and walked out with everything 50%. Definitely check sales - they have them often.

    Hey there!
I did all of my own flowers (bridesmaids bouquets, center pieces, etc.) other than my bridal bouquet.
I got my flowers from Old Time Pottery & Michael’s, and luckily they were getting rid of their spring collection and they were 50% off!

Definietly look into it! I saved thousands by going artificial and DIYing.

    Good luck & congratulations!

I'm doing 3 floral hoops with sola wood flowers, 3 boutonnieres, and my mom is doing the centerpieces with fresh bulk flowers from Costco.

My mom is doing all of my flowers. She says it's super easy, and let me tell ya, the woman is the furthest thing from crafty! Good luck!!

If you have an idea on what kind of flowers and colors you want, efavormart.com has a TON of beautiful flowers for really great prices! That's where we got mine at.

I did my own as well. Watch for sales. There is really no need to pay full price for silk flowers with how often they are on sale.

those are real beautiful I like what you have done with your flowers.

I too am doing my own flowers I have roses and tiger lilies flowers. I got some of the silk roses (white) from family dollar and the ( blue, turquoise & tiger lily from amazon) .But let me tell you girl youtube has been my best friend on how to make them. I'm making me a cascading bouquet with all three colors but mostly with the tiger lilies cause they are my favorite flowers and them all roses for the wedding party and the boutonnieres for all the guys. I'm just having a little problem with the wrist corsage for the mothers, but the pin corsage for my hostess and three bridal crew will be from the foam roses.

Thank you! Sounds beautiful, especially the cascading bouquet. I love the foam roses and they are super affordable. I bought the wrist corsage strap with the metal piece attached at hobby lobby. I then glued thick felt circles to the metal piece and that was my base. It was pretty simple from there, just added a brooch leaf and a crystal center to tie it in the the bouquets. Picture is not so great, but maybe it will help give you some ideas. I bought everything from hobby lobby for cheap.

    Hey there!
I'm a floral designer, in my opinion the red will be great ....but you need more than one red flower to balance and carry the color throughout any arrangement or bouquet. Otherwise, the eye will only focus on that one red flower and you want the eye to flow... Smiley smile
