Ceremony: 2:30 - 3:30 (but I doubt it takes that long)
Gap: 3:30 - 6 (not an option with our venue - kinda nervous about it because posters on here always say gaps are super rude - but there are tons of bars and restaurants walking distance from everything)
    Reception: 6-10

Not sure about an after party. I don’t want one but my fiancé does, so we’ll see.

Ceremony is set to start at 2 and the reception will end at 6 so 4 hours. It's going to be on a Sunday and most have to work the next day and are traveling over an hour to be there so we're keeping it short and sweet.

Ceremony and reception are at the same venue, so 5 hours. 11 am ceremony, followed by cocktail hour, and a lunch reception, ending at 4 pm. The afterparty is already booked at the hotel. We (FH & I) paid for the private bar @ the hotel, but the afterparty will be a cash bar.

From the invitation time to the end, probably around 7 hours. We really wanted to have a long reception to be able to fully enjoy the time, effort and money we put into the day, plus we know our friends wil love the party!

When does your reception start? Have you thought about having an after party?

That seems like a good amount of time for everything! If you go the after party route then that can add a little more time for guests to mingle and party if they choose to!
