Just wondering how long you ladies are planning to wear your wedding veils for? Just wondering how long you ladies are planning to wear your wedding veils for? Since I am only having an intimate ceremony with about 32 guests(only close family) I wanted to wear my veil during part of the reception as well(about 200 guests). I love my veil, it is beautiful and I did pay a good amount of money for it ($300+) so I definitely didn't want to just wear it for about an hour or so. My veil is fingertip length. ... how many of you ladies will be wearing your veil at your reception, and if so how long is it? Attach pictures. I would love to see all of your beautiful veils!

MIne was cathedral length, wore it for the ceremony and the pictures, took it off then as it was annoying me.

Mine is chapel length. I'm wearing it for the ceremony and that's it. Not wearing it for first look as I want something a little different for when I walk down the aisle.

I'll only be wearing it for the ceremony and perhaps for some of the pictures. I haven't bought my veil yet but the short time I plan on wearing it is the reason why I will not invest much money into it.

I'm planning on taking mine off right after the ceremony. I don't like having things on my head and like @rachel, I'm only getting one to appease my parents/grandparents.

I plan on ceremony, some pics, cocktail hour & reception entrance. It's birdcage so I'm not worried about it being in the way or annoying.

I had only planned on wearing my cathedral length veil during the ceremony and for a few pictures, but I kind of forgot about it and ended up wearing it through cocktail hour and dinner. Didn't bother me, and I enjoyed feeling bridal for as long as I could. Smiley smile

I wore my veil through the very end of the reception. It fell off several times, because we danced too hard, but that's another story. Mine was fingertip length.

I wore mine for about 3 hours - we did a first look, so pretty much just for pictures before/after the ceremony and the ceremony.

My friend wore her fingertip length veil for her reception and it was fine! If you do that, I would take it off before you really hit the dance floor.

I want to wear my fingertip-length drop veil for the ceremony and a few photos. The rest of the night I'll just be wearing a sparkly headpiece.

I originally planned to take mine off after the ceremony, but surprisingly I wore it all night. It is a finger tip veil with a rose gold trim.

What gorgeous veils everyone has! I wore my veil for the ceremony only and had some pictures taken with it post ceremony before the reception.

I have a fingertip length veil and I'm aiming to wear it all day, but I'm not opposed to if it falls out during the reception to let it be. Smiley smile

I'm wearing mine for the ceremony & photos after. I'm taking it off for the reception. It is actually my "something borrowed" from my sister in law.

I'm taking it off after cocktail hour photos. I originally wanted to wear it for my first dance, but it's my something borrowed and was made in Italy ( expensive) so I don't want to chance it. I got a flower halo to wear for the rest of the wedding since I'm not changing dresses and thought it could serve as my "party" outfit lol

I'm wearing mine until after our first dance or maybe even after the dance with my dad. It's really long so I'm draping it over my arm while we dance
