How long were you dating...

We've been together for 4 1/2 years, been engaged for 8 months. When we get married we will have been together for over 5 years.

We dated for just over 8 months...but I knew early on that he was "the one"...just didn't think it would be this easy. After we got engaged, he said he's known for a while and has had the ring since Christmas (engaged in February).

My parents dated for a whole two months before getting engaged and they've been married over 30 years now.

Dated for 2.5 years and by the time we are married we will have been together just under 4 years.

We dated for about two and a half years before he proposed. We knew we were going to get married about a year before that but were waiting until I got closer to finishing grad school. He jumped the gun a little by proposing a year and a half before I was supposed to graduate Now we'll be married before then too!
