How long were you dating...

We were dating for four years before we got engaged needless to say both sides of the family were like "finally" we'll be together almost six years by the time the wedding rolls around

3 months dating before engagement, will be 1 year 9 months when married. We have known each other for 23 years and grew up together though. Dated when we were both teens but we broke up back then to keep our friendship. Reconnected after both of us grew up quite a bit. EDT: 1 hour of sleep messes with the mind

4 years and 6 months when we got engaged and we will be 5 years and 6 months on our big day. It's been so worth the wait!
