How long should I wait to contact people for their RSVP?

My RSVP for my wedding is by this Saturday the 11th, and I still have a lot of people that have yet to return their response. My wedding is 8/22, so I thought I would give people an extra week or so. I'm sure I will still be missing some by then...so what is the best way to contact people who...

My RSVP for my wedding is by this Saturday the 11th, and I still have a lot of people that have yet to return their response. My wedding is 8/22, so I thought I would give people an extra week or so. I'm sure I will still be missing some by then...so what is the best way to contact people who haven't responded yet? I don't want to come off rude...But, use the postage I paid for people!

    I sent the invites out first week in June, so it's been about 6 weeks, I think I'll give them about 8 weeks total...then I will start hounding people! Thanks ladies for all of your advice and tips!
