How long is your reception?

Our reception is 4 hours with the option to extend another hour if we still have lots of guests present.

My wedding was last weekend. Our reception was from 7-11pm (4 hours), and that was actually pretty long as most people started leaving around the 3 hour mark. We even left at 10:30 and didn't stay until 11. I think 3 hours is perfectly fine

Mine was 4 hours including cocktail hour. so 3 hour for reception. it all depends on what you prefer. ours was perfect. If i could've had an extra hour i would've taken it but not for the price we were given.

Mine will be 5 hours long, 6-11pm. Unfortunately, I need all that time for "chao ban" (aka visiting all the tables).

We had it scheduled from 5-11, but it ended before 10

The wedding I have in the US is not gonna have chao ban but I'll have to do it for the reception in Vietnam. Definitely gonna wear flats for that lol

Our ceremony is 430ish to about 5, cocktail hour til 6ish, dinner for 60-90, then dancing until 10. We are lucky enough to have the ceremony and reception at the same venue, so we don't have to worry about transportation in between.

3.5 hour hosted reception and then we are going to a local bar for those who want to accompany us after.

My reception will be 4.5-5 hours (giving ourselves wiggle room in case the ceremony goes a little longer) excluding our cocktail hour. My family is a family of dancers and partiers so it's perfect for us! Wedding will be from 3:30pm-10pm (reception is 5:30-10pm).
