By the time I lose the weight I want to, it will be five to six months before the wedding. Is this enough time to get a dress?

I bought my Allure dress at a local boutique in June and arrives in January

Please don't listen to everyone that says it's plenty of time. It 100% depends on where and what kind of dress. Please remember the dress has to come in then you'll probably have several alterations. A friend of mine got her dress in May and it's still being altered and her wedding is in October. Do not make more stress for yourself. Do research. Try dresses on in the meantime, ask how long they take. Mine is estimated to take 8 months to make. Don't fall in love with a dress and realize it isn't possible.
