How long did it take? For him to put a 💍 on it

7 freaking years!!!

Just over 3 years from our first date. It will be one year engaged in a couple of weeks!

Almost 7 years. We got engaged in July.

We were friends for 4 years… Dated for 2 years… And will have a total of a 22 month engagement. So however you want to calculate that. Lol!! 😆 We were in no rush and I was super surprised when he proposed. I thought it would’ve been another two years of dating or so.

Unofficially 9 months. Officially 2 years after we bought our house together. We are to marry next October after a year long engagement. We both knew it was right.

We got married on our 8th anniversary. It was both our second marriage so neither of us were in any hurry. I was still shocked when he proposed.

2 years and when I asked him when he knew he wanted to marry me, his response was, “since the first time we said I love you”. 🥰

I'm going to be one of the odd ones. About 4.75 months in, he proposed. We both knew we're going to be spending our lives together whether we make it legal or not. We both agree that we're not that young and that we both old enough to know what we want out of life and a relationship. We both know who we are as individuals. We don't have rose-tinted glasses on and we know it's not going to be easy (I'm not saying that it's going to be hard either), but we're both adults who communicate effectively and work through our problems when they arise.

8years & it feels like we already were married...

3 years. But he started talking about marriage pretty early on in our relationship, and I told him not to even think about proposing to me until after 2+ years lol. How he actually did the proposal was a surprise, but I knew it was coming.

A little over 6 1/2 years.

About a year ☺️☺️☺️ We knew we’d get married a few months in though

He proposed on our 29th birthday. We had just celebrated 2 years together 3 days before.
