Since getting engaged a week and a half ago I've been celebrating a lot and not eating healthy at all! But this is Monday, so I've planned out my dinners for the week and hopefully can stick with them! I only want to lose about 20 lbs -so super achievable in 13 months- but the sooner the better. How is everyone else's fitness journey going? What changes have you made?

I’ve been doing really well on my wellness journey since Jan. My goal was to be down -45#, I’m currently -38#. I might not reach my goal in the 17 days to my wedding but I’m going to keep going on my same routine and see what happens. I’m not bummed though because I weigh less than when FH met me and am in the best shape I’ve ever been. And to be down so much in 8 months makes me proud. Doing my final weigh in before we leave on the 16th.

I’m just going to be honest I feel absolutely terrible bc my FH looks amazing he does CrossFit at least 3/4 times a week and has already lost I know 50 pounds since we first started dating . But unfortunately my weight has gone up since we’ve been together and I just really need to get back in a routine bc my wedding is 4months away 🙈🙈 I just make too many excuses

It feels like I just started mine — I’m also hoping to lose around 20 lbs, but in 7 months. I’ve been watching how much I eat in one sitting, skipping out on dessert, and trying to move more. It definitely helps to have someone to help motivate you in addition to your fiancé and hold me accountable (for me it’s my sister who is meeting with me after work to work out).

Good luck to everyone working on their health before their wedding.

Since being engaged I gained 15 lbs! 🤷🏻‍♀️I have 5 months to bring in down 20lbs or at least 15lbs. I have a hard time staying consistent with working out. I eat well and can say no to unnecessary cravings, but have to stay active if I want this weight off. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💛

I know what you mean Halle, my FH is a fit Jui Jitsu Martial artist and he loves him some curves lol but, I know I need to get to a healthier active routine, or my goal won’t be met. I will pray you find the determination Halle! Regardless, they love us. 🙏🏼💛🥰

Not so great, I was loosing weight but then I ended up gaining more weight than I lost. I want to loose 20 or 30 pounds but it feels like just a fantasy. For so long I been trying to lose weigh even before the engagement. My weigh is basically like a roller coaster ride. I started today to try to get back on track so wish me luck.

Avoid dairy for skin break outs or pimples. I only learned this a few months ago.

We started working out and eating better in May. Our goal is to be healthy overall but the wedding was definitely the catalyst! So far I'm down 13 lbs and 3" on my waist and FH is down 36lbs!

Good job on planning out how you will do it! You'll do great!

Well I've been deployed for 6 months and that gas helped so much! I've lost 35 pounds so far and eating right. So just gotta keep it up when I get back to the States then 10 months till the wedding! And a lot of needed alterations 😂

I have lost about 25x lbs since April. My original goal was to lose 40 lbs, but I don't think that will be possible, so I'm going to amend it to lose 30 (plus whatever else I can).

My biggest disappointment is that I barely have any before photos. I hated the way I looked in photos. So, I only have the memory of what I used to look like (plus one photo that I really sucked it in).

A few weeks ago a co-worker who lives in another state & hasn't been to the office since Feb visited our office. He said to me, have you lost weight, I was like um yeah - you know I am in a wedding in a few months. He was like, no like a lot of weight, I was like um yeah, again that wedding thing. I am down a bit over 20 lbs. He was like no, you look great, you look like you lost like 60 lbs... so I guess I have that going for me. Although apparently it might have also meant that I didn't look great, and that my 25 lbs looked more like 60 lbs.

I joined weight watchers and down 18 lbs since May, I am 5 lbs away from my goal weight. I work out 4-5 times a week and drink lots of water. I’m super happy with the results and wouldn’t do it any differently.
