Invite only immediate family, go to the courthouse, have a reception at a restaurant. Can be put together in a very short time span.

If it is a small wedding, you could always opt for a more casual sundress style rather than an actual wedding dress - it would be cheaper and might speed things up? I've seen some really cute ones that are pretty for around $50. And as long as all your vendors would be available, I'd think you could do it in a couple months with no problems, just send out invitations ASAP!

You can throw something together pretty fast. Money will probably be tight because of how quickly you're putting it together-- check your area, see if there are any free (pretty) parks you can marry in. Hire an officiant, buy a dress off the rack, and ask your bridal party to meet up and buy simple dresses at a nice local store so you don't have to worry about alterations. You could probably find flowers (fake) on etsy for relatively cheap then figure out what you're doing for after the ceremony. Dinner would probably be nice at a restaurant near by. Then just get finishing touches-- a small wedding cake (I've seen them as low as 50 bucks) and some favors, if that's something you're interested in. Otherwise the court house or something like it might be nice. Check your area for something like the philly wedding chapel where you can buy packages based on what you need for your day.

FH is catholic but, we can get married at a non-denominational church,by catholic priest. We have no vendors witch makes this rough. We have a photographer in family, plus cater. Not sure on Dj if we'd want one.A hall, would be rough from what I read to let you bring own cater.

My district manager planned her entire wedding in a week. Yes, a week. But the actual date was about a month out from when she finished planning and it was a really intimate December ceremony with her, her H, and their kids with a reception of about 40 other guests. I believe they had it at a small restaurant or venue that had their own catering.

That woman is a beast. I was floored by how beautiful everything was and she was able to just throw it together so effortlessly!

Super easy! I found an elopement service that's providing the officiant and photographer, plus whatever extras I wanted, and then I'm hosting a catered dinner at a nice Airbnb we're booking for the week.

Really the only "vendors" I'm booking are the elopement service, the caterers, and my Airbnb/plane tickets.

Eta: I'll be getting alcohol and desserts as well, just not considering that a vendor.

I planned a wedding in two months. It can be done. You just gotta make a plan and be proactive on finding vendors on short notice.

You can get it done in a couple of days, but it won't be a Pinterest wedding. Get the license and officiant, an off the rack dress, a restaurant and you're done.

How long does it take to get a license in your town/county? That's how long it takes. You don't NEED the dress, flowers, hair, make-up, bridal party,or even rings. You NEED the two consenting adults, an officiant and possibly a witness. Oh...and then reservations for lunch or dinner for whoever attends as your guest(s) if you have any. Good luck!

posted about a fast weeding/dress shopping.I talked to FH about my concerns with the family member who's ill. FH, is a go with the flow kind of guy.He said he got a plan IF we do half to move up the date. A JP with a few immediate family members.I'm OK with this, I guess.I still want the church he had his heart set on. I found 2 dresses I liked and they fit ok.I just want something I love.

Thank you for all the advise.I just freaked out and got overwhelmed.
