So I would like my BMs to get an updo (originally said iPod because of auto correct) for the wedding. I don't know how to phrase this to my BMs asking/telling them to get their hair done and pay for it and that makeup is optional. Anyone have a good way to phrase this?

*edited for the auto correct, sorry the grammar still sucks.

It's definitely not okay to tell your BMs that they're required to get their hair done and they have to pay for it. The only thing your BMs are obligated to buy is their dress. Whatever else you choose to dictate is on you. I don't have room in my budget to pay for my BMs to get their hair and makeup done, so I told them that whatever they want to do is fine by me. I'm coordinating for those who want to get stuff done.

I'm not doing pro makeup as only one of my BMs actually wears makeup on a daily basis and I'm not a makeup wearer either.

I did ask my girls, but did not require it, if any of them wanted to get their hair done professionally. 2 said yes and 1 said no. (The no has very short hair anyways). I offered to pay for half on the hair, both declined the offer and said they would just pay for it on their own.
