How do i use my guest list to see how many invitations to order based on household?

Jen, on November 15, 2020 at 10:28 AM Posted in Account Support 0 4

I'm really frustrated with the guest list mechanic on this site. I kind of regret going through all the painstaking effort of connecting ALL of our household groups with that little chain icon. Because there seems to be NO WAY to export all of those hours of work to the invitations!!! How hard is it to make a number of households to tell us how many invitations to order?! This is ridiculous! What is the point of entering all of this information if I can't use it to order invitations and have to do it all over again?! Ah! I should have just skipped doing it here and saved myself the trouble.

That totally sucks! I did mine old school style! I have a small notebook- it’s my wedding notebook. I listed everyone’s name & address.

I linked the couples together and counted by hand how many invites I needed. 160 people, I needed 100 invites.

Do it oldschool on an Excel/GoogleSheets type spreadsheet. Couples invited as a unit regardless of length of time together. All singles 18+ even if living at home get 1 invite. Families invited as one. Do the math from that.

Thanks, we wound up doing Excel - it's been the best way to go!
