How do i not cry while dress shopping

Robin, on December 10, 2022 at 12:48 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3

I've heard that there is some amazing, heartfelt moment when a bride-to-be tries on a wedding dress and instantly she knows it's her dress and starts crying. Well, my dress shopping's next week and I really don't want to get all emotional and sappy, especially in public. It just feels kind of embarrassing to me to be super emotional and it might not happen, but I'm a bit nervous. Is there any trick to like, not cry or something that you guys know?

Not everyone cries. I knew I found my dress because I felt beautiful in it and could envision walking down the aisle to my husband in it. However, no one cried. And I didn’t expect anyone too. Some people cry, but I don’t know how often it actually looks like an episode of Say Yes to the Dress.

I didn't cry I just knew I liked that dress the most, it had everything I liked and was on the low end of my budget. My MOH went with me the second time (to purchase the dress and so she could see it) she had them put a veil and jewlery on me still didn't cry. She almost cried, however her wedding was only a couple weeks after and she was just happy and excited.

If you love the dress and you don't cry that is completely fine! Don't think that it doesn't mean it's right for you.

I had a brief moment where I was a little emotional when I found my dress but I held it back pretty easy. I don’t have a trick for this lol I am just a pretty reserved person. Or think of something business like haha to keep the tears back?
