How did you use your engagement photos? Incorporate it into the wedding or favors?

I didn't think anyone other than our parents would want our faces on a favor- if they even did. So, I used the pictures, with our photographers permission to create a little photo book with lots of white space for our guestbook. It gives them room to write more than their names, and makes a warm keepsake of our pictures and their wishes for us. I had a coupon from Davids Bridal for a shutterfly book so I think I got it for $20 or something. I have something totally different for favors in place, and those are costing me $75 for 15 people? Ish?

We used our engagement pictures for ourselves (a mini album), around our venue as decor in fun frame, on the wedding website, and our graphic designer took our favorite image and made it a part of our menu sign for our reception.

Using it on your menu is a great idea!! I really like that.

We intend to use it on our program and plan to decorate our venue with some pictures.

We didn't even have professional engagement photos done. After seeing people post hundreds and hundreds of their engagement session proofs on Facebook, I knew that wasn't the way we were going to go. We had an aunt, with a good camera, take a couple dozen shots and we chose one for our save the date. One and done!

I echo other posters. Don't incorporate them into your favors. Heck, my social circle doesn't even give favors (thankfully); they put that money into guest hosting.

FH proposed in front of a professional photographer, on a cruise, so we used those on our STDs. Then our photographer package came with a session, so I used those on my bridal shower thank you. We were going to also use some with our seating chart. We saw seating charts made out of multiple frames and between the table numbers were the couples photos but, we ran out of DIY energy. Lol

We didn't even get engagement pictures, I do agree with other comments to incorporate them into your reception on a poster, or in a book so ppl can look at them, the menu idea is great too!

We'll be having a friend who does graphic design turn our photos into movie posters and they'll be placed in the coming soon signs at our venue (We're getting married in a theatre that does plays). All of our engagement photos are based on horror movies (our life basically revolves around horror movies).

We're going to use a small album of ours as our guest book.
