Let’s hear it! How did you and your FH meet? The old “you’ll meet someone when you least expect it” was true for us. I met my FH online. I was out of a rough relationship (and feeling jaded/skeptical of men) and he was new to the area and just trying to meet people casually. That quickly changed once we met. We exchanged “I love you’s” within a month and we both “knew” after a couple of months. I remember leaving his apartment after a weekend and texting my friend “this one is it. He’s going to be here for the long haul”. We dated almost 2yrs before he proposed.

Our story is a little different because a) we met at work and b) our first date was essentially a blind date. I was interning and he had recently gotten out of not great relationship. We had been introduced as "This is Erin, the intern & this is Paul, the engineer". Then one of his friends (now a mutual friend) set us up and got us to agree to go out with one another. We did the whole long distance dating thing as I finished up college. Dated for just over 2 years before he proposed and getting married in 8 months!

We met at a wedding! August 15, 2015 and our date is August 15, 2020.

We met at work at chance! I was managing a new store and he came from the office in another state to help with the opening. We clicked on a work level instantly. (Were both very career motivated and thought nothing of meeting at first)
we hung out that weekend after a long week of grand opening procedures- and hit it off so well we ended up spending 14 hours together in what turned into our first date!! He moved offices to my state, and we’ve been together for 5 1/2 years now! Just got engaged last month.
