My FH knew I absolutely loved going to the Christkindle Market in Chicago every year, and that Navy Pier has my favorite skyline; so he decided to do it then. We had an amazing seafood dinner, watched the sunset, went to Christkindle Market and warmed up with warm German cider. When we arrived back at Navy Pier he started acting kinda shifty. Little did I know he had a ring in his pocket! We was apparently trying to find the perfect place to pop the question. He decided to do it in the giant Ferris wheel, but he was acting so nervous that I thought maybe he was worried about his PTSD acting up in the Ferris wheel. He assured me he was ok but I thought he was just saying that cuz he knew I wanted to go in the Ferris wheel. He decided to just do it right there, in front of the Ferris wheel with my favorite skyline lit up behind us (so glad he did because it was a magical scene!) But when he got down on one knee I thought he was having a panic attack!! Needless to say, I was completely surprised!!! LOL The 1st 2 pics were of that night. We later went back to the same place for our engagement pics (the other pics). It was the most perfect proposal for me ❤️
