How close to your wedding are the bachelorette/bachelor parties?

Our wedding Is December 1 - but my bachelorette trip to Vegas is in late July. That was just best for everyone’s travel as my friends are sorta coming from all
over to attend.

M.y wedding is October 20 and my bachelorette party is late August.

I had mine on May 19th and my wedding was June 2nd

My bachelorette is a month before the wedding!

My sister lives in Florida and has kids so it might be better if we went to an earlier game in February. Unfortunately my bridesman won't be able to attend because he moved to Hawaii and can only afford to go to the wedding, which I totally understand.

H and I both had our bachelor/bachelorette parties 2 weeks before our wedding.

My bachelorette is at the beginning of August. My wedding is at the end of October. I would have liked it if we could do it closer to the wedding (like in September) but this just works better for everyone's schedule.

My bachelorette is Sept. 6-9 FH bach is Sept. 12-17 and the wedding is Sept 22

2 weeks is definitely normal. Mine is going to be 2 days before my wedding, because my MOH and one of my bridesmaids are from out of town so we’re just going to do it during wedding weekend so they don’t have to fly in twice. But I wish we could do it a couple weeks before! Would be less overwhelming doing everything all in one weekend lol

It's tentative, but right now mine is the weekend before my wedding. I've seen people have it a month before, 3 weeks before, 2 weeks before too, like yours. I think it just depends on what you want to do and what works best for everyone!

Mine is the weekend of July 13 and my wedding is August 31

My wedding is July 14th and we went to Destin in April. I LOVED how we did it even though it just worked for everyone’s schedules. I just love that it was so early and all the parties are out of the way so I can focus on planning and last minute details.

Our DW is August 27, reception at home October 5 and our friends are planning something for both of us August 11. We'll probably go out one night once we're in CO too.

Mine is the weekend before the wedding, but mostly because that's when everyone will be home.

Mine was 2 nights before the wedding (Friday night for a Sunday wedding) because that way everyone would be in town. My husband’s siblings are out of state.

Mine is the weekend before the wedding. One or two of my girls are traveling FAR , so we figured this would be a way to save them a trip & they’ll stay local through the week

Mine was about 3 weeks before the wedding - we did a paint-and-sip and then went to a couple bars.

FH's will be two days before the wedding. I'm not really happy that it's so close to the wedding, but that's how his schedule worked out. They're going golfing and then to the bar.

I had my bachelorette party three days before my wedding and my husband had his bachelor party 2 days before

Mine is July 28th, my wedding is 9/8. We had one for a friend of mine the last week in July and her wedding wasn't until the first of November, it worked best for everyone's schedules. I don't really think it matters when you have it.

Our wedding in January, but our parties are in September & October. We have other friends getting married in November/December and then the holidays are right before our wedding.
