How close to your wedding are the bachelorette/bachelor parties?

Bachelorette is August 11, wedding is August 25.

I'm going May 3-5 for our July 20, 2019 wedding! My fiance plans on doing his some weekend in May or June.

My wedding is October 5th and my bachelorette is the weekend of September 7th

My bachelorette is 8 weeks before my wedding. Myself and 2 of my bridesmaids are teachers and a 3rd is a graduate student in a very intense program. So holding it in the Summer worked the best for travel arrangements and work schedules.

Mine is 6 weeks before the wedding. FH’s is about a month before mine because he’s a teacher and needed it to be in the summer.

View Quoted Comment Not sure what I’m doing for mine, but FH is going bar hopping in NYC (we live in jersey) which I’m kinda nervous about because I really don’t want him to be exhausted and/or hungover for our wedding weekend! But he promised he wouldn’t drink too much and will be home in bed by 2am so it should be ok.

I'm doing bachelorette 2 weeks prior.

I’m more than a year out so I’m not sure lol I said I didn’t want one but my ladies are planning it so idk. I don’t think I want anything closer than a month prior to my date however.
