FH was abroad last Thanksgiving, so this will be our first one together! We've both agreed to spend all holidays together at our home

This will be our 2nd Thanksgiving as an engaged couple. I'm working this Thanksgiving this year so we just might end up staying home or possibly going out for dinner.

We will be with his family for thanksgiving. My boys will be with their dad anyway. We will have a meal for my parents and my grandmother the following weekend.

Christmas Eve with his family. Christmas Day with our kids and my parents.

For this Thanksgiving we are going home separately. His family did invite me and my parents to join for one big dinner but we had already made plans with my aunt and uncle. Next year we will start doing Thanksgiving together

We live around 5 hours from either parents house. He's a firefighter and I work in the finance industry which means we both have work the next day! SO we'll be spending the holiday together.

We'll be doing what we've done before getting engaged. We usually spend the day before Thanksgiving with my family and then Thanksgiving day with his. This year, since it's just my mom and my sister with her boyfriend on my side, we're making it easy and going to a Mexican restaurant for drinks and food. Then we're doing the traditional meal the next day with FH's family.

Holidays have always been a point of contention in our relationship. We’re both family oriented and refuse to give up seeing our families on holidays. Lucky, my FW’s family is mostly all elderly and they have their holiday meals at noon, on the dot. So as usual, we’ll drive the hour to her family Thanksgiving lunch, then an hour and a half to my family for dinner.

This will be our first thanksgiving engaged but we have been together for 6 years so we’re pretty used to holidays already! Luckily my fiancé’s family does thanksgiving early and my family does it late so we get to go to both!! The more mashed potatoes the better😊

This is our 2nd Thanksgiving engaged. For the past 4 years we've been doing Thanksgiving at our house for his family. My parents would go visit my family out of state and because of our work schedules, my fiance and I could never go. For Christmas we would go to my parents house and then have Christmas at our house for his family. Last year my mom passed, so last year was the first year we had both families together at our house for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. We'll be doing the same thing this year.

This will be our fourth thanksgiving together and our first two years my parents did a huge thanksgiving dinner with extended family on thanksgiving day and his family did a lunch. The last year and this one my mom has gone to Tennessee to spend it with my sisters and her kids and we have thanksgiving a weekend before. We get to spend the whole day with his family but we will probably sneak away and go back to our house for a nap.

Our first one engaged! Thanksgiving is usually spent with my mom - yay parental divorce! - and Christmas with his family because his family have a tradition of going to see each other at his brother's place. Still haven't figured out how to work my dad into the schedule, but he was largely absent for awhile due to not liking me and my FH living together (literally the only complaint he could have about that man.).

We will be married 4 days this thanksgiving! We’re making every recipe we love and decorating the tree. After that we’ll probably switch off.
