Hi Kenia! Have you combed through their reviews on sites like TripAdvisor? On some sites (like TripAdvisor) you can search a specific property’s reviews by keyword like “nightlife”. I think that’s where you’ll get your best info!


From a quick scan it looks like there isn’t a ton of nightlife on-site at the resort, but you’re super close to Playa Del Carmen which has tons of options!

Hi Kenia, I was just at this resort end of September-Beg October, 2020. Xcaret is an amazingly beautiful resort, it is huge (stayed 8 days and still missed some things) it also include access to all of its water/adventure parks. The nightlife at the hotel is nice, you can walk around and grab some tacos from the food carts in front of the pool, walk the sands in front of the river/beach. There is a restaurant that turns night club called Cantina Los Faroles, they start I think around 11pm and have a dj, beautiful lights and of course yummy drinks! This stays open to I want to say maybe 2am, since we went during Covid once it got full and people forgot to put their masks on while dancing, etc. I was out of there or in a corner by the bar. The lobby bar was my favorite, think more lounge couches and chairs, live music and amazing drinks, waitresses and all. I believe the lobby bar closed around 1 am. Xoximilco is one of the adventures that is included in the price of the hotel, it is a tequila boat ride basically with appetizers, some food and lots of fun, I highly recommend this we had so much fun and drank so much!
