Hotel booking

Eshell, on January 3, 2020 at 2:29 PM Posted in Planning 0 4
Hello!
I’m trying to not stress HELPPPP so we are doing hotel suggestions for our guest.
I test run my wedding website and my cousin told me that all the hotels near our venue that we put on our website as a suggestion is saying SOLD OUT. Our wedding is ONE year away. Does anyone in the hotel 🏨 marketing sales world that can explain this to me ?!?!Thanks

Some hotels don't let people book more than a year out, but I'd reach out to the hotels by calling & see what they say. A good way to save some rooms is to set up a complimentary block at a few hotels, so I'd do that too.

Are there other hotels in your area aside from the ones you included on your website? If so, I would advise getting a hotel block with at least one of them ASAP if the others are already booked up.

I learned that sometimes they say sold out because they aren’t booking that far in advance. I would call them.

    Hey there, Eshell.

I would also recommend you reach out to them and ask for clarification. As the PPs mentioned, they may not take bookings this far in advance and as a default, may display a 'Sold Out' message. Let us know what they say. I hope this resolves everything.
