Hotel Block-- How many nights for a Saturday Wedding?

We did Friday to Sunday for a Saturday wedding.

I think I blocked 20 for the night before and 30 for then night of for 150 guests (around 50 parties). We don't get charged if the hotel rooms aren't all reserved though.

Friday Saturday. I got a 5 block for Friday since my bridal party are all out of town and a 10 block for Saturday

Friday and Saturday sounds reasonable

I did our block for Thursday - Saturday but then extended it out to get a better price for my peeps.

I would get pricing for the day of and surrounding days for oot guests who aren't gonna leave immediately. Mine was awesome and gave the same rate for however long their stay is, but mine is off season so that probably helped.

The earliest we have guests arriving is Thursday. From a couple hotels I looked at, they most likely will offer (at least the ones I looked into all did) the 2 nights before and after the wedding at the group rate. The hotel we chose had us guesstimate how many people would come Thurs/

Fri and gave us the max they would for Saturday. So I think it was like 5 rooms Thurs, 7 rooms Fri, and 35 (yup) Saturday.

I just did the night of the wedding, most of my guests won't stay longer then that. I booked a suite for the night before the wedding as well so me and my girls can get ready together!

Since ours is a destination and my family plans on making it a reunion type trip, I'm booked from the Wednesday before until Tuesday. We locked in the rates for anyone making it a full trip.

I set up a smaller block for the night before the wedding for any family/friends who are traveling from out of state and might need to come in the day before, and a larger block for the night of the wedding.
