I did some typical one for my destination wedding but most wedding tend to have around the same, shrimp, some option with meat/chicken/pork, a vegetarian or vegan option. I had 4 per person because I had a huge buffet to follow.

Umm this looks yummy. Here are my faves
    Shrimp ceviche
    Hamburger sliders
    Smoked salmon
    Quesadilla square
    Duck taquito
    Tequila shrimp shots

I love food so I love a lot of them. Not a fan of veggies but you should have an option for sure. I say try them if possible so you can get a flavor idea and see what you like most. I had 4 different options per guest.

I would say anything but the tartare and ceviche is fair game. Raw food makes me feel iffy in large quantities. I would eat all of the quesadillas if I were there! And I think sliders would be popular. I personally wouldn't get the brie either but hey, plenty of people love brie cheese.

I would portion 4-5 pieces per person since they are usually bite sized and small.

    My favorites are:
    Quesadilla Squares
    Pesto Crostini
    Tequila Shrimp shots
    Tuna Tartare Napoleon

We are definitely having raw choices at ours: tuna ceviche and steak tartare! We have an adventurous group of friends Smiley smile

We had 4 passed appetizers and 1 station. They planned on 1 bite per person. Out of your choices, I think shrimp ceviche, hamburger sliders, brie dumpling with blackberry, and quesadilla squares. Then you have two vegetarian options, a fish option, and a meat option!

It also helps to picture your cocktail hour and the guest experience. Are these all passed items, or will they be stationed? If they are passed, consider that people will have a drink in one hand and no plate. What is easy to eat in a bite or two? A slider might be difficult. Crostini (if bigger than a bite) might crumble.

If the items are stationed and folks will put them on plates to eat at a cocktail table, ease of eating is less of a consideration.

    All of them look great

But I would definitely be chasing down the brie dumpling with blackberry preserves!

What’s the vibe of your wedding? I would try and get the food to match. For a casual wedding, I’d go with the quesadillas, guac bites, sliders, and shrimp shots. For a more formal wedding, I’d pick the 2 crostinis, the brie dumplings, and the duck taquitos.

Either way, I agree with the other reply—make sure to have vegetarian options, fish options, and meat options. Also, be sure to have an allergy-friendly vegetarian option (as a vegetarian with a tree nut allergy, the struggle is real).

Honestly I am picky so I would probubly do the fried vegetarian dumpling and thats about it. Maybe the guacamole or tomato things but I'm not understanding what they are

I would say 3 would be a nice amount - and probably not too hard on the wallet. I think the quesedilla squares, brie dumpling, and maybe the burger sliders would be a good selection!

you kind of have to play off your crowd. you want to get stuff that everyone or most of everyone will eat. so it doesn't go in the garbage.
