Hors d'oeuvres Spelling

I can't even tell a difference.

I'm a grammar nazi, and speak french, and I still wouldn't notice.

That's what I sort of thought too. I proofed it, FH proofed it, the wedding planner proofed it, and we all missed it. And I've edited four books and I missed it lol.

I had to seriously focus on both spellings. No one will notice or care because most people do not how to spell it anyway.

I had to focus really hard on both words to even notice lol. Like Janeen said no one can spell that word!

I just texted FFIL to tell him I really didn't care and not to worry about it. He said they're already printing and he insists they have to be correct because he feels terrible he misspelled it. Which is very nice of him, but I'm really not that worried lol. I told him I didn't want him to pay all that extra, especially since he's doing all this for free, but I guess I sort of understand since he is in advertising/graphic design and wouldn't want someone to think he can't spell.

What everyone else said, no one will notice because no one really knows how to spell it.

I saw this post title and thought "AHA! That's how you spell it!" so no, I don't think you should reprint.

Keep it. No one knows how to spell it and no one certainly is confident enough to call you out on it lol.

This word is the worst...I used "tapas" or "appetizers" if I have to write it out lol! The other one that always gets me is boutonniere (even now I had to let spell check get it). It's nice he decided to re-print, but I wouldn't have noticed.

I hate boutonniere! I can never get it right!

I had to re-read your post like 3 times just to tell the difference between the correct and incorrect spelling. I don't think anyone will notice!!
