They do, but most of the ships that go to the Bahamas are very similar. All will have some kids, but we rarely saw them on our cruise. They have special areas for kids and teens to hang out in, and the Mariner also has an adults only pool area with a pool and hot tubs and chairs and all that so you can hang out there as well.

And Carnival will definitely have tons of kids so I would for sure stay away from that cruise line if you are wanting not a lot of kids around. But honestly, there is so much to do that is for adults only on RC that you won't really notice the kids that are around. Trivia nights, comedy shows, dance parties, etc... that are all for adults only.

Hello!! We are going on a cruise to the Bahamas too!! We are cruising with Royal Caribbean! We got a buy one get one 50% off deal plus $50 of onboard credit. Not sure if that is still going. We are going to Nassau and CocoCay. CocoCay is a private island for Royal Caribbean ships only, so all of the pools, beaches, and most of the food and drinks are included. So, we aren't paying for an excursion there! But, they have a water park and other fun things you can book on that island. I've cruised with Carnival and they are a good line. I've never gone with Royal Caribbean, but my MOH has and says they are so great! Even better than Carnival! She has cruised with both. Carnival is known for partying and I would agree with that, but there is plenty to do on Carnival if that isn't your thing. Royal Caribbean isn't that way, and my MOH says that we will enjoy Royal Caribbean more, especially for a honeymoon. Royal Caribbean and Carnival are decently priced. I don't know your budget, but our 5 day 4 night cruise with Royal Caribbean, with the 50% off, is costing around $1100. With two excursions in Nassau, airline flights, one night hotel in Miami, taxi, everything we will be spending about $2000 for the whole honeymoon. I don't remember the total price for the Carnival cruise as it was 3 years ago, but I know it was about $950 for me and my MOH to go. That price is just for the cruise, not airline, etc.

Katie I'm thinking about booking with Norwegian Cruise Lines because it is all inclusive $2,000 open bar free meals and they have excellent reviews and I guess they said it will be the balcony room which is one of the best rooms

I get it! All cruise ships include free food, the difference is going to be the drinks. RC and most other cruise lines do a "drink package", I know Royal Caribbeans is like 80/person per day for all drinks and alcohol. So if it is all included it makes sense that it would be more! Norwegian is definitely supposed to be great as well! I am sure it'll be amazing.

So u think that's the right choice more bang for the buck plus they said they go to Key West Florida and I wanted to go there for my honeymoon in the beginning so I think if they trusted I still get to see it

FH and I booked ours through Royal Caribbean since we had gone on a cruise with them last year and loved it! If you have any questions, I have had tremendous luck with just calling them and asking! They were super helpful and made booking a breeze.

I would definitely go with a balcony if you can swing it. One of my favorite parts of cruising is sitting with a drink on the balcony and just watching the ocean. I've also done an ocean view, which is where you're on a lower deck with a port hole. It wasn't bad, but I missed the view.

Also, if you think either of you will have a problem with sea sickness, aim for the middle of the boat. Its the most steady.

Our price will actually be a little skewed- we're going for 11 days over Christmas next year. So our total just for being on the boat is about $5,700. I'm budgeting $1,200 to $1,400 for the drink package. Then a couple hundred per excursion. I'm hoping with flights we will be right around $9,500.

With the drink package I would consider how much you'll actually drink. I'm generally not a big drinker so pricing is a little iffy. But I am a huge coffee drinker, and the package I'm getting includes the specialty coffee shop on board.

So I haven't narrowed down to two cruises either the Royal Caribbean or the Carnival my fiance told me he wanted to see st. Maarten and st. Thomas so these are the only two that is visiting that area in August we will be taking a week late honeymoon but both of them are seven Knights and the carnival one is the one that visit 6 different places in Barbados is included with that the Royal Caribbean only visits four of them I don't know we will figure it out within the next couple days

I have been on cruises and I’ve stayed at all inclusives. The good thing about a cruise is the price. As someone mentioned though, want to make sure neither of you are prone to sea sickness. When I’ve done cruises, I attempt to stay interior, in the middle of the boat, about midways up, as that area has the least amount of movement...it is also affordable choosing interior rooms. My doctor always gives me a prescription patch to wear behind my ear as well which is great and doesn’t make me sleepy. Good luck and have a great time!

So , I did a ton of research and we just booked our Carribean Cruise. So from what I found Norweigian and Princess are more "adult" focused crusies. I found Norweigian had the best prices and options, espcially because they offer an Included drink package and specialty meals as an incentive. We are going in November, which is off season so I know we got a great deal... but I have been 100% satisfied with their customer service also. Extremly nice, professional and informative. Norwegian has some great entertaiment and activites a little more focused towards adults also.

Just to give you an idea, we are doing 7 days in Western Carribean. Port is Orlando.

its was about $4200. for the entire trip. That included unlimited drink package, 3 specilty meals, WiFi and $50 excursion credit, Oh yeah and we qualified for air travel included in that price (We live in NC) We also chose to upgrade to a larger balcony room, so that added some addtional costs and we are prepaying for gratuities.

Princess was the same price, but no drink package or other incintives were included.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions, I have done a ton of research....

Oh thank you so much see here was my issue I wanted to do no reason because it was awesome deal I had my heart set on it but my fiance told me he wants to go to St Maarten and or St Thomas so Norwegian does not have those options available for the month of August or September so that's x'ed out for me so now I'm only looking at Carnival Cruise or Royal Caribbean and they are both 7-Day cruises but the Carnival Cruise Vince's every saint Island plus Barbados and the Royal Caribbean is about the same but it only visits St Maarten in a few other islands is 7 days as well and I'm doing balcony for both either when I decide I'm just a little confused on which one I should go with I know they said not too many kids come on the seven-day Cruise especially during the school month
