Honeymoon without the jab

John, on December 15, 2021 at 2:06 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 8

Does anyone have any ideas where we could go for a honeymoon next year that doesn't require a 10+ day quarantine or the jab? Thank you!

No one can answer because who knows what stage COVID will be in next year. But also, where you are allowed to travel without getting vaccinated depends on where you live, where you can realistically drive to for a vacation, and what the requirements are where you want to go.

I can't help with suggestions but I will say this much, make sure your plans are refundable - I have friends living in Europe where they have mostly been able to travel around freely and even for them it is becoming harder and harder to travel and vaccine requirements can change last minute - just yesterday I heard about someone going to meet up with his wife in Europe after being separated for work but the vaccination requirements changed before the wife arrived meaning the husband was let through because it was before the new rules came into effect whereas the wife was turned away at the airport since she arrived after the rules applied.

You can go to St.Thomas, USVI. All you need is negative PCR test to enter.

We are going to the Bahamas in February 2022. As of now their traveling restrictions haven't changed. We have to test negative to get there, and negative to get back. They provide the testing on the all inclusive resort we are staying at. If not vaccinated you have to be tested on day 5, which is perfect since we leave on day 6. Also to go to the Bahamas you have to have a travel visa for $60 that has some sort of health insurance with it and our resort has travel insurance so it isn't a big deal if we have to change plans. We were nervous to book our honeymoon too since things change quickly.

I believe Mexico is pretty lenient with their requirements these days.
