So I was quoted $330 for a honeymoon suite and my guests $130 for a regular room. I called the hotel and see what the big difference is between the two and there is not much of a difference. The suite has a Jacuzzi and a living room and the regular room does not. I think I am going to save myself...

I agree, if i was getting ready there I would get the suite, but we are getting ready at my house. We just want to be alone the first night with no kids! Smiley smile

The hotel that I am booking for my guest stay and I am staying there also to e with them. FH and I will stay there together on wedding night before driving out for Honeymoon so we can have breakfast with everyone before they leave. The hotel doesn't have suites so I am booking two rooms that can be conjoined by opening a door between the two rooms. I will have me, my daughter, my Grandson, my son in law, my mother, 2 aunts, and friend getting ready there. Way to many people for one room and plus my Grandson will have just turned 1 the week before he will need the room to run LOL. My daughter and her family will stay in the other room and we will just lock the door no big deal.

We had a one bedroom penthouse with a big living room and balcony. It was great having all the room to get ready and for pics in the suite. We stayed three nights so it was a nice splurge. We had a lot of ppl coming and going.

We got lucky and our hotel comps the bridal suite for the couple as long as the block books at least 20 nights. (not a problem for us since we have 30 rooms blocked off and most guests are staying for 2 or 3 nights). They also comped the $200 shuttle for us to get our guests to and from the ceremony/reception without us having to worry about people drinking and driving.

I got a suite (for the day before as well) when I called to reserve a room block and shuttle for the wedding day because I wasn't sure WHERE the bridesmaids and I were going to get ready that morning and I wanted there to be enough room for us all. Its either there or my mom's house not too far the ceremony venue. I like the idea of having that there because then FH and I would have a car there the morning after as well most of the bridal party
