Honeymoon Location Help!!!

Future Hubby and I are having the hardest time deciding on where to go for our honeymoon in September/October. Looking for a relaxing vacation on the beach with some activities such as snorkeling for about 10 days. We have no idea where to start as we don't travel much and have only been on a cruise to the Bahamas once. We were considering the Maldives or Bora Bora but not sure about the long flight and the cost. Something that's all inclusive on a tropical island? We want to stay away from anywhere in the hurricane belt. Is it possible to have a nice vacation for under $5k ???

    I would look at maybe Aruba? They do have all inclusive resorts and do not get hurricanes which would be perfect for the fall time. My best friend has gone a few times and absolutely loves it!

    So surprisingly Hawaii has a down time for travel and it is October. Flights are under $700 usually and you can still get to a decently priced resort. Do a few excursions, rent a car and just enjoy the island. They do have hurricanes BUT the last one I was in...we sat at the hotel, shut the windows, and the bartender continued bar service. I would look into this!

    Look in to Mo'orea instead of Bora Bora. It's the island in between Tahiti and Bora Bora. It's actually rated equal to Bora Bora, but much cheaper. We're going in March!
