Honeymoon in Thailand?

So my soon-to-be hubby had the idea of going to Thailand for our honeymoon because it's such a cheap place to stay in (except the flights) and its different. Anyone have experience with going there or had their HM there? When's the best time to go? Any input or advice welcome!!

We are going to Thailand on our honeymoon! We leave July 10! Coming right up! We are flying into Phuket, heading off to the Santhiya Resort on Koh Yao Yai for a few days. Then heading to Koh Phi Phi, then Ko Samui and back to Phuket for 3 more days. Hotels are really cheap and we found a great one on Phi Phi for $30 a night. We paid $1,400 for both of us to fly roundtrip from San Francisco to Phuket. July is the very beginning of rainy season. I think Aug-Sept can get really wet.

Consult a professional travel agent who can help you figure everything out. Their services are usually free and they can help you with all the logistics.

    Wishing you the best!

    Hello,

We are planning our honeymoon in thailand in december for around 10 days .dates probably-18 to 27 dec.

no planning done yet. All time being spent in the great indian Wedding Smiley tongue

What can be some quieter options to stay in thailand . Spending some time around beaches would be nice ,but some places in the mainland can also be good . Please suggest places where lesser people hang around cause we are looking to relax in the outdoors, we might be doing some outdoor activities as well, if available like snorkeling or island hopping etc. We are not going for 5-6 star accommodation, but 3 star or 4 star.

Currently i have thought of krabi , ko lipe , ko lanta- not finalised anything yet

Hows koh yao yai. are there any other islands/beaches like this one.

    Thanks

Love to see this! We are considering it too, but our wedding is over a year out and flights still can't be booked yet. Any recommendations for more relaxed islands to visit and/or romantic/secluded hotel options?
