We planned on getting married in Hawaii but since that went south, we still would like to plan our honeymoon there and just keep the same ideas we had. Where are you thinking of?

No idea. We aren’t getting married until July of next year and don’t even have a budget for the honeymoon yet. I was looking at resorts and everything just is so expensive and I’m worried I won’t plan enough stuff to do. Maybe it’s worth talking to a travel agent?

Yup! We got back from our amazing Hawaiian honeymoon a few weeks ago! We did two weeks on Oahu and six days on the Big Island.

Oahu was absolutely amazing and had everything we wanted—lots of fun excursions and activities, but also lots of opportunities for downtime and chilling by the pool or beach. We ate lots of delicious food, drank lots of delicious cocktails and saw amazingly beautiful scenery.

We could have skipped the Big Island entirely and for our next trip, we'll likely do three weeks on Oahu with a three night Maui or Kauai stay in the middle.

Yea, definitely. Especially if you don't know where to go or what to do. You can always check like little activities and adventures to do through Groupon as well. Idk if the prices differ than straight from the source but it's worth a look. I hope everything works out for you whatever you decide.

I want to go for our honeymoon! FH is against it because of a long flight since we’re from Long Island. Fingers crossed I’ll convince him!

Hi Michelle! Did you decide to speak to a travel agent about your honeymoon?

Can I ask what the average price you all paid for your honeymoon to Hawaii? How long are you going for and how many islands? My FH and I have been thinking about going there next year for our honeymoon and we were hoping to stay around a 5k-6k price range. I talked to a travel agent a few days ago and she said we wouldn't be able to go there under 8k, which is way more than we'd like to spend. We both have a lot of travel points/miles so I'm hoping that could help out a little bit.
