We're going to Mo'orea!

We are planning on a mini-moon ... something in our state, or close to our state! Weddings are so expensive, I just want to make sure we don’t overspend!

What kinds of things are you into? Do you want to relax on the beach, hike up a mountain, or something else? What's your approximate budget? For some, $1000 is an expensive honeymoon and others don't bat an eye at $10,000.


We went to an all-inclusive adult's only resort in Punta Cana, and we loved it.

It comes down to your interest. We are doing a European trip 2 weeks,honeymoon and bucket list. We will travel London through cities to Switzerland and then down to Rome. But it's what we want.

If you don't want to leave the country maybe consider getting a rental off the beach in Cali. You can go to places like Tahiti for a few thousand.

We are doing a cruise. We booked it a year in advance, made a small down payment and then paid it off over the course of the year. Then we saved a little bit here and there each month to pay for travel (we're driving). Easy peasy! You can book really affordable trips like cruises or all-inclusive resorts and make payments and that might help with the budget.

Yeah!! You're so welcome! And we went through a travel agent the first time we booked and got an AMAZING deal. If you use a travel agent, find one that gets paid by the cruise lines instead of by taking a fee off the top.
