Honeymoon Ideas?

Have you looked into cruises or all-expenses paid resorts? That way you can still do something in the Caribbean, but after the cost for that and plane tickets (or gas if you’re in driving distance), your food has already been covered so you don’t have to worry about that.

Take a cruise. Easily doable for $3,000

Puerto Rico is fairly affordable! You can try the less traveled Rincon area instead of San Juan to save even more money. Good luck!

If you have the money to be able to pay off purchases right away, I would highly recommend a credit card that has travel points!! We put our venue payments on two different travel cards and as such are able to travel to Egypt for our honeymoon/anniversary trip fully on points. That being said though, do NOT do this if it will cause you to incur debt. Its much better to operate within your means that you can afford now. Puerto Rico is a great option and flights are fairly steady around 350-400 per person. Depending on where you go and where you stay you can pretty easily make it work for a week for 3k!

We are taking a 6- day cruise and Jamaica is one of the ports. It was less than $3000 for us.
