Honeymoon help

Taylor, on February 6, 2020 at 2:47 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 17
My Fiancé and I want to take our honeymoon in August September but we’re having a really hard time deciding where the best place to go would be. Does anyone have any suggestions on places preferably but not limited to out of the country that are warm and not rainy that time of year. We’re really stuck here anything helps!!

If you're thinking about the Caribbean, keep in mind that is hurricane season.

What do you want to do? Are you adventure junkies? Love the quiet bike ride through the countryside? Scuba divers or snorklers? Beach bums or mountain people? What foods do you love? Europe is gorgeous in September, and crowded in August. Italy would be amazing! I think that's where we are going. Look into staying out of the way of tourists and you'll have an amazing time! I looked into Costa Rica for you because it's one of my fav places in the world, but it's rainy season. Thailand is beautiful!! Humid in Sept but affordable and amazing beaches. We also just looked at Portugal and it sounds aaahhmazing!

Those are all places we were looking at but we’re unsure of what it would be like that time of year.

Honestly we are open to all adventures. I would like somewhere that I can enjoy a beach as we live in Las Vegas so I need some water in my life! But as far as everything els goes we want some days of any kind of adventure and or history and some days sitting on a beach just doing nothing at all lol.

Honestly, the BEST place I have ever been to (and I traveled to 38 countries in my life) is Costa Rica. Its one of the most bio diverse countries in the world. You've got gorgeous beaches, tropical rain forest, volcanic areas, (how about the spa?) amazing weather, super friendly people, awesome snorkeling and scuba, good food and service, and not too expensive. Not to mention so many different birds, different monkeys, sloths, reptiles, etc etc. It's very safe and modern enough to have zip lines and up to date tours, but still has a lot of culture, cool markets and ancient ruins. And not touristy like Mexico! We are going in spring break with my hunny and 3 kids. I haven't been there in 20 years. We are staying in Manuel Antonio, but considered Arenal Volcanic area as well. Both gorgeous! I've got to give kuddos to our travel agent Vicky at www.destinationuncharted.com, Am I allowed to do that here? If not, just let me know and I'll edit that out. She was amazing!

Greece is so amazing and romantic. Italy also has so much to do (Venice, Florence, Tuscan villages, Sienna, Umbria, Rome, Amalfi, Sicily) ❤️

See that sounds wonderful to me. What would you say is the best area to stay in to experience all of this in one trip?

You mean Costa Rica? Manuel Antonio is the only area I went to, then onto Honduras and Guatemaula for 2 months. It is where we are going on March 20th. I highly recommend it! We fly into San Jose, then have a 3 hour drive to our hotel. We are staying at Shana Residences, but there are a ton of hotels there. Book ahead, they get filled up fast! Manuel Antonio national park is right there and you can spend an entire day there seeing sloths, monkeys, reptiles, zip lines (I think) The beaches around Manuel Antonio are great! Its relatively safe (don't walk around carrying your passport, or other silly touristy things people do) and you'll love it! There are all kinds of tours from there too. Send a message to Vicky in my last post and she will fill you in...

Here are 2 pics of our resort. The monkeys are on your patio every morning.
