Honeymoon Help!

Heyyyy just wanted to chime in here to say that we were also going to go to St Lucia for our honeymoon in October, so we probably would have been there at the same time lol. We haven't moved ours yet because we still really want to go but we will probably end up moving it because who am I kidding, COVID sucks...

Anyway, I haven't been to Key West, but I can say that Hilton Head is pretty lovely. From what I remember, it has a more cozier feel to it than most southern beach areas I have been. Great seafood for sure, not overly touristy, but depends on what you are looking for.

If your priority is the beach, Hilton Head is the way to go. Key West shorelines are generally pretty rocky. I believe there are one or two sandy beaches, but they are small, unless you are willing to travel farther north up the Keys. You can definitely find AirBnBs with a pool, but HH can offer way more in terms of laying out on a beach in the sun. Key West definitely has the nightlife advantage though.

Do you already live in Florida? I ask bc it’s one of the highest COVID states, so I wouldn’t recommend going there at all. If you already live there, then that’s another story lol.

Oh, Hilton Head.

Even though it's more commercial now, it's still such a nice, quiet place. I grew up going there as a kid, and there's so much to do that can be romantic and still safe.
