Hey friends!
I need your ideas!!
So our original plans for our honeymoon was a 2 week Europe trip that I had planned fully.. It was our dream trip. Sadly, we have come to terms that Europe is not a possibility for us due to covid. I am very bummed but ready to move on.
NOW we are thinking of a 4-5 night get away somewhere in the US in mid-late December (possibly over Christmas). Any December honeymooners staying in the US and have somewhere interesting planned?? We currently live in Texas and would like to try some where unique and somewhere we haven't been before. I have been dreaming of cute cabins surrounded by nature with a romantic hot tub out side or something, but we are open to suggestions! Thanks!!

    I don't know that Gatlinburg, TN is "unique" but they have amazing cabins in the mountains and almost all of them feature outdoor hot tubs. We love visiting and try to make it every fall or winter.

    It's definitely a great option! There's tons to do if you want any activities, but most of the cabins are nice enough that you'll want to stay inside the entire time. If you go, definitely check out Cherokee Grill and Crockett's Breakfast Camp!

    Maybe you could still have your "dream" honeymoon but in a US city that a a replica of where you were going.

    Sounds like me! We’d wanted to explore Europe but have decided against it. We’re from Texas and now looking at splitting our honeymoon between Big Sky, Montana and Leavenworth, WA. They’re both going to be cold in December but so beautiful! I think there’s cabins in Leavenworth, but we’re looking at staying at this fancy place called Posthotel (or something similar) with in-room jacuzzis and lots of amenities, plus its adults only.

    I went to Leavenworth at the beginning of this year and it was so beautiful and such a cute Christmas town I’ve been wanting to go back ever since! It would be perfect for a couple of days.
