Did they say why it was cancelled?

I don't know what your budget is but we are doing Sandals in St. Lucia. We picked it b/c it is all inclusive so we can eat, drink and lay around the beach and pool as much as we want, but there are also a lot of activities to do, like ziplining through the rainforest, sunset sails, and driving in to a volcano.

What explanation did they give for cancelling?

You maybe able to book another cruise with the same cruiseline leaving from a different port. They should be able to assist you with doing that.

Rachel, we are doing Sandals St. Lucia too. What resort are you? We are Halcyon.

Leah, if you don't want to have to worry about going international, you could do a honeymoon in the FL Keys.

What is your budget? What do you think of when you hear "honeymoon"? My idea of a honeymoon is a tropical beach resort, unfortunately my wedding fell too close to hurricane season for me to be comfortable planning a honeymoon in the tropics. We are postponing until March when it will be frigid cold here and we need a break from Winter! We plan on going to Cuba (we're Canadian). I have heard great things about the DR though, and they are known for being affordable. You could get a really really nice all inclusive package for under $2500 for both of you, or cheaper depending on where you decide to go. Talk to a travel agent, they are the experts and they can probably get you an awesome deal! Smiley smile Good luck!

There is also this thing called Friday Night Street Party in Gros Islet... if you go to St. Lucia, this is a must. I loved it!!!!!!

The shopping is pretty good as well. You could also hop on the ferry for a day trip to other islands such as Dominica, Guadeloupe or Martinique among others. A bunch of on-island activities as well, the beaches are gorgeous also.

Those pictures are beautiful. I want to go there lol. our budget is about 2000 I believe. (hes incharge of money) but we are mainly looking for some all incluisve where we dont have to worry about anything. I saw a package on st lucias but it was 1500 and if that was for the both of us I would take it. But thats the price for each i think.

are a few good ones. You can always go on www.tripadvisor.com and search all inclusive resorts in St. Lucia. THe traveler reviews are extremely helpful.

Leah, our price tag was about twice your budget, but I think it also depends on how long you are staying there and from how far away you are flying. You may actually be able to catch some last minute deals booking something closer to your wedding. You should be able to get some quotes on http://www.sandals.com/ and I have heard Jamaica is pretty affordable. You may also want to work with a local travel agent on finding something. Like someone else said, you could always find a similar cruise as to what you had originally planned. Good luck!

Amanda, we are staying in Regency b/c it looked like the larger resort.
